The Greatest Miracle I Had Ever Seen
When we relocated to Orlando, I wanted to look up an old business acquaintance, but we never put anything together as shortly after getting to Orlando, God opened doors for full time ministry.
At that time, I was told my friend, Arnold, was a Christian and was witnessing the ministry of William Branham. However, the life Arnold was living did not line up with the Word of God. He was living just like the world—he smoked and had a temper, amongst other things. There was no evidence of the Fruit of the Spirit, thus, I had no interest in anything he had to say. The Bible says we will be known by our fruits.
Six years later, I was pastoring a church about two hours from Orlando. One Sunday, I was asked to speak at William Hinn’s church, Benny’s brother, in Orlando. I called Arnold and invited him and his wife to come and we would go to eat afterward.
Keep in mind, I had not seen him for about six years when we went to eat after the service. As Arnold and his wife sat at the table with Shelly and I, I could not stop staring at him. He still looked the same, except his countenance was so different I hardly recognized him. He was gentle and he no longer smoked. He even talked differently than I remembered. Words cannot describe the total change in this man.
As we continued with dinner, I realized I was witnessing a human body that had a different person residing on the inside; he was a new creation.
Considering all the supernatural I have seen in my life up to this point, I have to say this was the greatest miracle of them all! All the others were for physically healing the natural man on the outside, but this man was healed on the inside for eternity. He literally radiated with the character of Christ.
On our two-hour drive home, we could not quit talking about the extreme change in Arnold. More importantly, I felt more answers to the questions from my youth were coming to the forefront. I knew I was on the brink of a major breakthrough in my spiritual walk with our Lord Jesus.
Over two weeks went by and I still could not get the impact of Arnold’s miraculous change out of my mind. The Lord was even keeping me awake at night. I could not rest until I talked with Arnold one more time.
Arnold had revealed at dinner he was still a follower of the ministry of William Branham and how that ministry was a vindicated Word ministry with signs following.
I was never interested before in what William Branham had to say because I never saw the fruits of the Spirit in Arnold’s life. Now I knew I needed this material. Arnold, through his minister, put a transcript in my hand of the memorial service of the late William Branham. I was taken aback with amazement as I noticed T.L. Osborne was the one who did the service. I had nothing, but great respect for T. L. Osborne because of all his accomplishments and his great following.
- T. L. Osborne was well respected by every minister I knew and he brought credibility to the ministry of William Branham.
After I read his transcript, these words have stayed with me all these years, Truly God has visited us again in this day.
I used to preach about a day we would be able to recognize the new creation of a real, genuine Christian. That statement had manifested into reality on this day.
I had no idea witnessing this phenomenal change in my friend would have such an impact, which would forever change my life as well.
