BETHLEHEM

Some interesting truths about Bethlehem brings us to a greater level of heartfelt faith when we sing the world renowned song, ‘Oh little town of Bethlehem’.

It was in the town of Bethlehem the romance of Boaz, the wealthy Lord of the harvest, and Ruth, the Moabites, began. Their lineage traces down  through King David and ultimately to our Lord of the Harvest, Jesus Christ.

Till this very day we can visit the ‘Shepherd’s Field’ and the ‘Field of Boaz’ in Bethlehem where the angels announced the news of Jesus birth and the supernatural star led the wise men to the very same place it all began many hundreds of years earlier.

The ancient history surrounding Bethlehem and the love story of Boaz and Ruth is bursting with hidden truths far more meaningful than just historical benefits. These truths reach deep into the Old Testament displayed in the natural realm and shadow God’s spiritual redemption plan perfectly for today and the future.

Boaz being half Canaanite and Ruth being Moabites reveals the lineage of the Lord Jesus Christ is Savior for all the nations of the world.
